Skin show helps others not Mallika!

Bollywood femme fatal Mallika Sherawat may have made her list of aasiques long with a fan following consisting from directors, producers and crazy-going audience, but her banging luck still couldn’t open the door of biggies of Bollywood.

And hyping jealousy enough, the almost unknown face of the recent flop Red Swastick, Sherlyn Chopra, has managed her alley to the Yash Raj films just after a sizzling appearance in the music album Outrageous.

Mallika may have worked with top actors of Bollywood such as Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Rekha, Dharmendra and many like them but working under real big banners has always been dreams of most of the industry people. And Mallika, being a beautiful part of the industry, may not be very different from others.

Well, whatever be the fact or fiction, fans of this bomb-shell have something to cheer for as the actress would soon be seen portraying different characters in her upcoming films.

Mallika is reliving the character of Anarakali in Sanjay Chel’s Maan Gaye Mughle Azam. On the other hand Mallika would be seen opposite Ranveer Shourey in Pritish Nandi’s comic chapter Agli Aur Pagli.

Apart from these the actress is also working in Ravi Walia’s Fauj Mein Mauj and Kamal Hassan’s Southee flick Dashavataram where she is portraying the character of an I A agent.

Only time would tell whether these films would help Mallika in making an impression to help in grabbing big banners or not.

If she succeeds in it, then the next question will arise as whether she will be able to maintain a good rapport with the biggies.

Since, we all are aware the kind of bitter relationship she shares with Mahesh Bhatt who bestowed her with Murder, the biggest hit in Mallika’s career.

Mallika’s dress too revealing?

allika Sherawat is in soup again for wearing an ‘indecent’ dress at Dasavatharam audio launch at nehru Indoor Stadium on April 25.

An The Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK), which has been acting as Tamil Nadu’s moral police, submitted a petition at the Periampet police station claiming that her dress and behaviour hurt the sentiments of Tamils.

One of their activist S R Kaniraj caliamed in the complaint that Sherawat has “caused mental agony and hurt to the sentiments of the people of Tamil Nadu by wearing a revealing mini skirt, exposing her back and sitting cross legged in front of the Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.”

HMK wants the police to take action against Mallika. Chief minister M Karunanidhi was the chief guest at the event, which was also attended by Jackie Chan, Amitabh Bachchan, Mammooty, Hema Malini and others.

HMK had earlier shot off a petition in January against Shriya Saran’s choice of dress at the silver jubilee celebrations of ‘Sivaji’ starring Rajnikanth and Shriya.

Mallika Sherawat to star as nagin in Hisss

Mallika Sherawat will play a Nagin (snakewoman) in her next release, Hisss. Hisss is directed by Jennifer Lynch of Boxing Helena (1993) fame, which incidentally won her a Raspberry award for the worst director for the movie in 1994.

Does not augur well for Hisss on the face of it. But, Hisss‘ costume, make-up, and special effects teasers have generated a lot of interest. You can see from the pictures here that this is not your standard Ramsay, or even Ramu (The Factory) horror film. Costume quality and makeup in the Hiss arfe definitely on Hollywood standards. We hold our judgement though on that ridiculous name Hisss – who chose that, some assistant director to the Ramseys?

The producers, Vikram Singh and Govind Menon, have roped in Robert Kurtzman, known for his expertise in make-up, special effects, and visual effects. Kurtzman has won the Saturn award in 1999, for make-up in the movie Vampires.

Mallika praises Aishwarya

The animosity between most actresses is obvious in Bollywood but sensuous Mallika Sherawat not only likes getting compliments but she is also generous when it comes to ‘sshowering’ praises.

The voluptuous beauty recently tweeted about Aishwarya Rai when a fan wrote, “Mallika, you sure are making waves ... and we all thought Ash will be doing it.” In reply she tweets, “Thanks, but Ash makes waves all her own. She’s one of a kind!”

We can say Mallika is definitely one of a kind too, the first B-town babe to be bestowed with an Honorary Citizenship and Official Resolution by the City of Los Angeles. It was on Independence Day when Mallika received the honour during a ceremony at Los Angeles City Hall. “first Indian actor to get a “recognition” by City of LA. Not bad, eh?” scribbles @MallikaLA.

Katrina Kaif can’t live without …

It’s a girl named Sandhya for the mademoiselle - a friend, confidante and her entire entourage. While other actors and actresses are accompanied with a group of people while they travel: a valet, bodyguard, agents and secretary; Kat has this super woman as her manager and thus, she needs no one else.

“Sandhya can fix everything from a switch in the house to organizing my daily affairs with super-efficiency,” the actress was quoted as saying.

You wouldn’t believe that even for a small conversation with an air hostess, Kat asks Sandhya. The angelic beauty is very much dependent on her as she takes care of every little thing and makes sure her Katrina is never alone.

Sexy Kim Sharma is ready for marriage

Kim Sharma made news for all the wrong reasons not to mention her bad movies; her dwindling career doesn’t have much to offer. So, finally the actress has decided to marry according to the latest buzz in tinsel town. Not a bad move Kim.

Now the question is who she is going to marry? Has she found her prince charming after a string of affairs with not so eligible men? Yes, the chirpy Mohabbatein actress was dating a Spaniard and it was a well-guarded secret till now.

He proposed and the actress accepted so now Kim has decided to exchange rings and to take wedding vows with her Spanish man and after that she will say good-bye to India, leaked sources. The bubbly actress who once dated handsome cricketer Yuvvraj Singh is in no mood to settle here, especially because of her beau’s successful music career. Kim’s ‘Mr. Right is based in Madrid, Spain.

Carlos Marin is the lucky man for our Kim and he is a singer as well as the part of a leading international musical quartet, II Divo. When the two started seeing each other is not known but friends of the couple have been informed of the happy news so that they can start preparing for the wedding, which is going to happen soon, as per the sources.

Right now Kim is busy with shopping and hopping to Madrid, quite often. The report says that she will tie the knot on February, 2010.

Asin loves to play with Sridevi’s daughters

Asin Thottumkal shot to fame in Bollywood with Aamir Khan’s ‘Ghajini’ and the actress shifted her base to Mumbai when she was offered ‘London Dreams’. Asin was new to Mumbai and did not know many people here. However, she got support and guidance from none other than Sridevi who happened to be staying in the same colony.

Asin loves to spend time with Sridevi and her daughters and they bond with each other very well. Whenever Asin has time she drops in Sri’s house to play with her daughters.

Asin becomes a kid when she is with them and it’s like a stress releaser for her.

So, here we have yet another example of two talented actresses bonding well with each other.
